India Hospitality Corp. Announces Addition of COO Sandeep Vyas to Board of Directors
LONDON, Jan. 2 -- India Hospitality Corp. today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Chief Operating Officer Sandeep Vyas as a Director effective December 30, 2008. Mr. Vyas will fill the board seat vacated by Scott LaPorta on July 30, 2008.
Mr. Vyas was the co-founder and executive vice-president of Barista Coffee and has held several leadership positions in the consumer and hospitality industries. Recently, as the director of worldwide operations for Yum! Brands International's Pizza Hut, he led the global repositioning of the Pizza Hut dine-in brand. Previously, as the head of operations for Yum! Brands' strategic business unit in India, Mr. Vyas led the re-entry of Yum! Brands' KFC business in that market.
Mr. Vyas, 39, was a director of Yum! Restaurants International Marketing India (P) Ltd. until 2006. There are no further disclosures required under paragraph (g), Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies.
