AGM Statement
Hydro International plc (AIM: HYD), a leading provider of environmentally sustainable and innovative solutions to water management challenges the world over, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today at 12 noon at the Group's headquarters located at Shearwater House, Clevedon Hall Estate, Victoria Road, Clevedon, BS21 7RD. At the meeting, the Board will make the following update.
During 2014, the Group is focusing on making investments in systems, business processes, and high quality people to facilitate growth and deliver our strategy on the ground. Regional sales personnel have now been appointed in China, and the wider Asia Pacific region, and the implementation of new business systems is progressing to plan.
Trading across the Group's operations is broadly as expected, including the anticipated reduction in first half-year revenues from our Europe Wastewater division derived from major contracts for Thames Water that have now reached their conclusion. The Group's outlook, therefore, remains unchanged from the view expressed in the 2013 Annual Report.
We continue to see considerable opportunities for Hydro to capitalise on the investments it is making to improve the level and quality of earnings beyond the current year.
The Group will release interim results for the six months' ending 30 June 2014 on Tuesday 2 September 2014.
