Hydro International PLC01 December 2005 1 December 2005 HYDRO INTERNATIONAL plc Further Significant Contract Wins Hydro International is pleased to announce that its UK wastewater business(Vexamus Water) has received a contract valued at £1.6 million for the supply ofit's Zickert sludge scrapers at one of the UK's largest wastewater treatmentplants. The contract represents the largest single order ever placed on theGroup. This announcement comes shortly after Hydro's US operation secured itslargest single order to date for its stormwater treatment equipment - theDownstream Defender - with 21 units being ordered to treat stormwater runofffrom car parks serving the new Greenbush commuter rail line in the greaterBoston area.
