Heavitree Brewery PLC - Pension Scheme
Following a period of discussion with the Trustees and the remaining Deferred Members of the Company's Final Salary Pension Scheme, it can now be reported that all such Members have transferred their remaining benefits out of the Scheme. The only remaining Members of the Scheme are now Retired Members and their dependents. The Trustees have purchased annuities held in the Trustees' names with insurers for pensions in payment.
Actuarial calculations showing the effect of these changes will be carried out as part of the usual year end financials and reported in the Company's financial statements for the year ended 31 October 2018.
The Company continues to operate its Defined Contribution Personal Pension arrangement. The assets of this arrangement being held separately from those of the Company in an independently administered fund.
