For immediate release 18 August 2005 Hunting PLC ("Hunting") Rights Issue - successful placement of the Rights Issue rump Following the announcement on 17 August 2005 regarding valid acceptances underthe Rights Issue, Hunting announces that Hoare Govett has procured subscribersfor the 641,258 New Ordinary Shares for which valid acceptances were notreceived, at a price of 270p per share. The net proceeds, after the deduction of the issue price of 180p per share andthe expenses of procuring subscribers (including any related value added tax),will be paid pro rata to those persons whose rights have lapsed in accordancewith the terms of the Rights Issue. Accordingly, sub-underwriters will not be required to subscribe for any NewOrdinary Shares.
