Tower Project

Hargreaves Services plc (AIM: HSP), the UK's leading supplier of solid fuels and bulk material logistics, today notes that the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council has rescheduled the meeting in which it will consider the planning application for the Tower project. We understand that, for reasons unconnected with the project, the planning application will now be considered by the Council at its meeting on 20th July 2011.

Despite the further delay, the Group is pleased to note that the Service Director of the Co-ordinating Development Control Committee of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council has recommended that the planning application for the Tower Colliery Project be approved, subject to certain conditions. This recommendation will be considered by the Council at the meeting on the 20th July.
