Issue of Equity & Block Listing Application

Hargreaves Services plc announces that at a board meeting held on 1 June 2010 it allotted 3,457 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') following an exercise of options by a member of the Company's Performance Share Plan. These options were exercised at a price of 393.5p per Ordinary Share. 

Following the issue of equity the Company now has 26,606,802 Ordinary Shares in issue, each with voting rights. Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the new Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM as soon as is practicable.

The Company also announces that application has been made to AIM for a block listing of 214,573ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") ranking pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares. The application is in respect of Ordinary Shares to be allotted pursuant to the exercise of options under the Hargreaves Services plc 2007 Sharesave Scheme.
