JSC "Halyk Bank" awarded Best Local Bank in Kazakhstan by BusinessNewEurope

JSC "Halyk Bank" ("the Bank") was given an award in "Best Local Bank: Kazakhstan" nomination based on results of "Eurasian Bank Survey 2012" special research published in BusinessNewEurope international magazine.

"Eurasian Bank Survey 2012" indicates that despite continuing uncertainty in Europe, international investors increased their interest and started giving more importance to emerging markets during 2012.

The magazine published ratings of 200 banks in Eurasian region taking into account their asset dynamics. The Bank holds 16th position out of 200 CIS banks, having been marked as the best bank in Kazakhstan demonstrating sustainable growth.

At present, this is the fifth award granted to the Bank in 2012 from one of the reputed international magazines. Previously, the Bank was awarded "Best Bank in Kazakhstan" by Global Finance and Emeafinance magazines. Global Finance also awarded the Bank "Best Trade Finance Bank in Kazakhstan 2012" and "Best Foreign Exchange Provider in Kazakhstan 2012".
