In relation to assignment of insurance holding status
Joint Stock Company "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (JSC "Halyk Bank") (LSE: HSBK) announces that in accordance with the resolution of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan JSC "Halyk Bank" obtained approval for assignment of status of insurance holding owning more than 25% of shares of insurance companies JSC "Kazakhinstrakh" and JSC "Halyk-Life".

JSC "Life insurance company "Halyk-Life" provides life insurance services. Halyk Bank is the sole shareholder of JSC "Halyk-Life".
