HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited17 December 2007 HSBC INFRASTRUCTURE COMPANY LIMITED Result of EGM HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited ("HICL" or "the Company")*, the listedinfrastructure investment company, announces that at the Extraordinary GeneralMeeting of the Company held today the resolution to approve the acquisition ofadditional equity and debt interests in the Home Office PFI Project (the"Project") from HSBC Infrastructure Limited ("the Transaction") was passed byshareholders. Full details of the Transaction were set out in the circular toshareholders dated 20 November 2007. Completion of the Transaction is expected to be on or around the 18 December2007 and is conditional upon no notice being given to terminate the ProjectAgreement and no event of default being called under the funding documents inrespect of the Project prior to the date of Completion.
