HgCapital Trust plc (the "Company")

Listing application

Further to the announcement on 4 June 2013 in relation to the 31 May 2013 subscription date, the Company announces that it has issued 1,760,513 Ordinary shares following the exercise of remaining subscription rights. Application has been made for those Ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. The Ordinary shares issued will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares and are anticipated to commence trading on 11 June 2013.

Following this issue there will be 37,324,698 Ordinary shares of 25p each in issue in the capital of the Company.
