The John Craig 1-2 well commenced production on 16 December 2013 followed by the Big Sky 12-11 well on 22 December 2013. These two wells are currently contributing a combined production of 300 bbls/day, resulting in total gross production increasing to an average of 1,753 bbls/day since the Big Sky 12-11 commenced production.

The Big Sky 12-11 well is performing ahead of expectations and further clean-up work on the John Craig 1-2 well is planned with the objective of increasing production from this well.

Gross oil production for the full year of 2013 was 364,968 barrels compared to 31,492 barrels in the full year 2012, a tenfold increase.

Big Sky 14-11 Well

Completion of the Big Sky 14-11 well is currently underway in the Mississippian formation. Analysis of the core and initial testing has confirmed an oil-bearing zone that is thinner than other Arikaree Creek producing wells and with slightly different characteristics, suggesting that this well may lie close to the eastern extent of the Arikaree Creek field.

Telluride 13-2 Well

The Telluride 13-2 well was drilled to a depth of 8,210 feet. The well has been logged and is currently waiting on the completion rig. Log analysis indicates that the Pennsylvanian formations in this well are more promising than the targeted Mississippian formation so initial completion will be in the Pennsylvanian. The Pennsylvanian formations have looked promising in all Arikaree Creek wells drilled by the Company and this is the first well in which they will be tested. A successful result will open up the potential for significant new opportunities for the future development of Arikaree Creek.

Jackson Hole 1-32 Well

The Jackson Hole 1-32 well spudded on 23 December 2013. The well is currently being cored.

Big Sky 13-11

Following completion of drilling operations at the Jackson Hole 1-32 well the drilling rig will be moved back to Arikaree Creek and drilling of the Big Sky 13-11 well is expected to commence within the next two weeks.

Stephen Gutteridge, Chairman of Nighthawk, commented:

"The year on year comparison of oil production demonstrates the significant progress made by Nighthawk over the past twelve months. We enter 2014 with production at new record levels and with plans to continue the strong growth with further development drilling."

Chuck Wilson, Chief Operating Officer of Nighthawk, who has over 33 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and meets the criteria of qualified persons under the AIM guidance note for mining and oil and gas companies, has reviewed and approved the technical information contained in this announcement.
