Biofutures International plc01 August 2007 For Immediate Release 1 August 2007 Biofutures International plc UPDATE Following the result of the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of BiofuturesInternational plc ("Biofutures" and/or "the Company") and the Board changesannounced, the Directors wish to provide Shareholders with an update. It is the intention of the newly appointed Executive Directors to pursue apro-active role with a view to overcoming the existing difficulties that thecurrent project is facing, which primarily relate to the rising cost of the mainraw material which is Palm Oil. The Board will also be considering other viableoptions for the production of BioDiesel. The Company is looking to appoint new suitably qualified Non-Executive Directorsto contribute to the Company. Change of NomadBy mutual agreement, Ruegg & Co Limited will cease to be Nominated Adviser to the Company with effect from 31 August 2007. A further update will be made in due course.
