5 August 2008 GEONG International Limited ("GEONG" or "the Company") Signs New Contract Worth ‚£215,000
GEONG International Limited (AIM: GNG), the AIM listed, China based provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software and solutions, today announces that it has signed a contract with Parametric Technology Software Co. (PTC), a world wide leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution provider, worth ‚£215,000 with at least ‚£190,000 in the current financial year.
Under the contract, GEONG will develop an integrated PLM solution based on its PortalAgeTM platform. The new solution, which has already been extensively and successfully tested in four pilot studies in the Manufacturing and Aerospace industries, will significantly enhance GEONG's product offerings within manufacturing related industries which is one of the largest and fastest growing sectors in China.
Commenting on the contractwin, Wang Weidong, Chief Executive of GEONG, said:"By partnering PTC we have been able to quickly develop a product which will significantly enhance our product offering in what is one of the fastest growing sectors of the Chinese economy."
