ChristopherΒ Mills appointed a non-executive Director
Gleeson (GLE.L), the urban regeneration and strategic land specialist,Β is pleased to announce the appointment as aΒ non-executive Director, with effect fromΒ 1 January 2009, of Christopher Mills.Β ChristopherΒ Mills is a member and Chief Investment Officer of North Atlantic Value LLP.Β North Atlantic Value LLP, which has been a substantial shareholder since March 2005, currently has an equity stakeΒ of 18.2%Β inΒ M JΒ GleesonΒ GroupΒ plc.Β
Christopher Harwood Bernard Mills, 56, is also Chief Investment Officer of J O Hambro CapitalΒ Management Limited, which he joined in 1993. Mr Mills is additionallyΒ Chief Executive and Investment Manager of North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC, aΒ UKΒ listed investment trust, and a Director and investmentΒ manager of Oryx International Growth Fund Limited. From 1975Β toΒ 1993, ChristopherΒ worked forΒ SamuelΒ Montagu Limited,Β MontaguΒ InvestmentΒ Management Limited and its successor company,Β Invesco MIM.
In addition to North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC, ChristopherΒ Mills has been a director of the followingΒ publicly quoted companiesΒ within the previous five years:Β Albany Capital Plc, Castle Support Services PLC,Β Catalyst Media Group plc, Inspired Gaming Group plc,Β Izodia PLC ,Β Mid-StatesΒ PLC (until 17 December 2008), Prime Focus London PLCΒ andΒ Sirvis IT plcΒ .Β
