Notification of Transactions by Directors

The Company has been advised today that, on 7 July 2008, Dermot Gleeson, Non-executive Chairman, acquired 311 Ordinary shares at a price of 156.5p per share by way of a routine automatic reinvestment of the dividend paid on the shares held in his PEP and Mini ISA. Following this transaction, Dermot Gleeson owns 976,869  Ordinary shares in the Company representing 1.8 % of issued Ordinary share capital.
