Block Listing Application
M J Gleeson Group plc (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 100,000 Ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company.
The block listing will allow the Company to allot shares to be admitted to the Official List and traded on the London Stock Exchange pursuant to the Company's obligations under the M J Gleeson Group Share Purchase Plan.
The shares allotted under the terms of this plan will rank equally with the existing Ordinary shares of the Company.
It is expected that the application will be heard onΒ 24Β March 2009 and that the block listing will become effective on 25Β March 2009.
