The Family Shari'ah Fund Limited (the "Company")

Notification of Interests

16 July 2009

The Family Shari'ah Fund Limited announces that it was notified on 14 July 2009 that, on 14 April 2009, Addax Bank B.S.C (Closed) ("Addax Bank") transferred 1,000,000 ordinary shares of US$0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") into a nominee account (Pershing Nominees Limited). Addax Bank remains indirectly interested in such 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to 3.17 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, and there are no changes to the beneficial ownership of these Ordinary Shares.

Additionally, The Family Shari'ah Fund Limited announces that it was notified on 14 July 2009 that, on 15 April 2009, Omar Hammad Al Mashal transferred 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares into a nominee account (Goldman Sachs Securities (Nominees) Limited). Omar Hammad Al Mashal remains indirectly interested in such 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to 3.17 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, and there are no changes to the beneficial ownership of these Ordinary Shares.
