Falkland Islands Holdings plc, the AIM quoted international group which owns essential services businesses focused on retail, transport and logistics announces that Mr. Edmund Rowland has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect, representing Blackfish Capital Management, a 20.1% shareholder in FIH.

Mr. Rowland currently serves as a Director of Blackfish Capital Management, a specialist asset manager based in London, having previously gained experience in London and Hong Kong, as an analyst and investment manager with BNP Paribas and Blackfish. He has broad experience of principal investing in both equity and credit capital markets, with a focus on special situations.

Mr. David Hudd, Executive Chairman of FIH, commented:
