easyJet plc: Board changes

easyJet plc announces that Moya Greene will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 1 September 2017.

The easyJet Board's Nominations Committee led the recruitment process on behalf of the Board. 

John Barton, Chairman of easyJet, commented:

"I am delighted that Moya will be joining the Board. Her logistics and transport background, strategic awareness and FTSE100 CEO experience will further strengthen the diverse mix of expertise and experience on the Board. We very much look forward to her joining us."

easyJet also announces that François Rubichon will be stepping down as Non-Executive Director on 22 July 2017 following completion of three years on the Board, and Keith Hamill will retire from the Board as Non-Executive Director on 31 July 2017 having served over eight years.

Moya Greene has been Chief Executive Officer of Royal Mail Group since July 2010. Prior to joining Royal Mail, Moya was CEO of Canada Post. She is also on the Board of Trustees for the Tate Gallery.

For the purposes of Listing Rules 9.6.13, Moya is a director of the Royal Mail Group plc. Moya has been within the last five years, but is no longer, a non-executive director of Great West LifeCo and Tim Hortons Inc, both publicly quoted companies in Canada at the time of Moya's directorships. There is no further information to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.
