Empyrean Energy PLC ("Empyrean" or the "Company")
Request for EGM
Empyrean announces that it has received a request from Messrs James Kight and Richard Appleby, who hold approximately 9.5% and 6% of the issued share capital of the Company respectively, to call an extraordinary general meeting of the Company ("EGM").
The EGM is being sought to consider resolutions in relation to the removal of certain directors of the Company, being Patrick Cross and John Laycock, and the appointment of three new directors, being Richard Appleby, Jeremy Nicholas Warneford Edwards and Jeremy Ronald Sleap.
The Company is taking appropriate advice and further announcements will be made in due course.
