Eleco plc ("Eleco" or "the Company" or "the Group")
Board Change
Eleco announces that on 15 July 2010 David Dannhauser resigned as a Director of the Company. He served as Finance Director since his appointment to the Board in December 1994. On 2 February 2010, he gave the required 12 months' notice of his resignation under the terms of his service contract and has now left the Board by mutual consent.
John Ketteley commented: "I would like to thank David personally, both as a colleague and as a shareholder, for all he has done for Eleco during his time with the Company."
The Board has identified specific tasks that need to be addressed by the finance role during the remainder of 2010 and has appointed Tim Sykes, an experienced finance professional, as part time Interim Director of Finance to do so. The Board will be appointing a full time Finance Director in due course but in the meantime looks forward to working with Tim Sykes until the appointment of a full time Finance Director is made.
There is no present intention to appoint Tim to the Board of Eleco.
Tim Sykes is currently a director of PROACTIS Holdings PLC, Avacta Group plc and Penta Financial Direction Limited. Within the last five years, Tim Sykes was a director of Charles Porter Holdings Limited, Mountain Warehouse Holdings Limited and Altitude Group plc
In due course, the Company intends to publish on its website, www.eleco.com, a complete list of the names of those subsidiaries of the above companies of which Tim Sykes is or has been, within the last five years, a director.
There are no other matters that require disclosure under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
