UPDATE ON AVAILABILITY OF NI43-101 COMPLIANT RESOURCE ESTIMATE AND TECHNICAL REPORT
LONDON: 30 OCTOBER 2015 - The directors of ECR Minerals plc (the “Directors”) are pleased to provide the following update regarding the Itogon gold project in the Philippines.
Further to the Company’s announcement dated 19 October 2015, the NI43-101 compliant Mineral Resource estimate for the Itogon project has been completed, and the technical report required under NI43-101 to support the disclosure of the Mineral Resource is at an advanced stage, although not complete.
It is expected that an announcement will be made during the week beginning 2 November 2015 disclosing the Mineral Resource estimate, and, in addition, the target for further exploration referred to in the Company’s 19 October 2015 announcement. However, the full technical report will be published within 45 days of the announcement disclosing the Mineral Resource, pursuant to the relevant provisions of NI43-101.
ABOUT ECR
ECR is a mineral exploration and development company with the right to earn a 50% interest in the Itogon epithermal gold project in the Philippines. Itogon is an advanced exploration project located in a prolific gold and copper mining district in the north of the Philippines.
ECR has a 100% interest in the SLM gold project in La Rioja Province, Argentina. Exploration at SLM has focused on identifying small tonnage mesothermal gold deposits which may be suitable for relatively near term production.
