Tesco to stock Blackwood's Gin in England and Wales

Blavod Wines and Spirits plc (AIM:BES) the owner of premium drinks brands including Blavod Black Vodka and Red Leg Rum is pleased to announce that multiple retailer Tesco has agreed to increase availability of Blackwood's Vintage Dry Gin to larger stores in England and Wales. Previously Blackwood's Gin was only available through Tesco stores in Scotland.

Blackwood's Gin is made using handpicked botanical ingredients from the Shetland Islands which include wild water mint, sea pink and angelica.

Commenting today, Don Goulding, Executive Chairman of Blavod, said:

"We are delighted that Tesco have agreed to list Blackwood's Vintage Dry Gin across 188 stores in the UK and are confident that this will increase sales as well as awareness for this unique brand.
