Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Diversified Gas & Oil PLC (AIM: DGOC), a US based gas and oil producer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric M. Williams CPA to the management team with immediate effect as Chief Financial Officer. Eric will support the team headed by Finance Director Brad Gray and his responsibilities will include accounting operations, financial reporting and investor relations communications.
Eric joins from Callon Petroleum (NYSE: CPE), an oil and gas company with annual revenues of US$200 million, where he was Manager of Finance and responsible for the company's investor relations and related corporate finance activities.
During Eric's more than 7 years with Callon Petroleum, the company grew significantly from a market capitalisation of US$40 million, to over US$3.5 billion, successfully transforming itself from a deep-water, non-operational company to an onshore, pure-play operator. He was instrumental in enhancing and developing the financial reporting streams and establishing a formal investor relations function as Callon's communications requirements increased. Eric began his career in the Birmingham, Alabama office of PWC. Prior to his time at Callon Petroleum, Eric's career included various audit, accounting and financial reporting roles with several US publicly traded companies.
