Interim Management Statement

Communisis plc (LSE: CMS), the leading marketing services provider, today publishes its Interim Management Statement for the third quarter ended 30 September 2010.

Trading during the third quarter has been in-line with management's expectations and we continue to see a good level of new business opportunities emerging across the Company.

Our Intelligence Driven Communications ("IDC") business has continued to grow in the third quarter. The partnership announced on 28 September with ExactTarget, a leading global email marketing services provider, marked a further important development for us in IDC, considerably extending our email marketing capability and presence in the online channel. This partnership has already generated a positive response from prospective customers.

Our Specialist Production and Sourcing ("SPS") business has continued to make good operational progress in the third quarter. Our Direct Mail and Transactional segments have both delivered an improved performance in the period as a result of our continued focus on efficiency and execution.

Furthermore, in early October, we were pleased to announce a new contract with NATS, the leading air traffic control organization. This, three year managed services contract draws on skills from both our IDC and SPS businesses and serves as further proof of our ability to deliver fully managed end-to-end marketing solutions for our clients.

At this stage, we have good visibility through the fourth quarter and, as such, the management team remains confident of meeting full year expectations for the business.
