Elektron PLC17 March 2006 For immediate release 17 March 2006 Elektron Plc ("Elektron" or the "Company") Share repurchase Elektron, the AIM quoted components group, announces that the Company acquired100,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ("OrdinaryShares") at a price of 17p per Ordinary Share through the market. Following this transaction, the repurchased Ordinary Shares will be cancelledfrom trading on AIM.
