Trading statement

 

 

The Board of Clarkson PLC is pleased to confirm that since its update on 10 November, trading has continued to be positive with strong spot revenues being supported by delivery of the Group's order book brought forward from previous years and the recent significant strengthening of the US dollar. Consequently the Board anticipates the Group's full year performance to be ahead of market expectations.

 

This good performance throughout 2010 is testament to the strength of Clarkson's market leading teams and the breadth of our truly global offering across shipping and its related markets.

 

Preliminary results for the year ending 31 December 2010 will be announced on 10 March 2011.
