Clarkson PLC17 May 2007 17 May 2007 CLARKSON PLC ("Clarksons") Acquisition of Cofimar SAS Clarkson PLC announces that it has acquired the remaining 51% interest, that itdoes not currently own, in the dry cargo broker Cofimar SAS for a totalconsideration of US$2.5 million. The total consideration will be satisfied by the issue of shares and as aresult, application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the LondonStock Exchange for admission to the Official List for a listing of 129,107Ordinary Share of £0.25 each. These shares, ranking pari passu in all respectswith the existing shares in issue, will be allotted to Messrs Richou and Poux. It is expected that admission of the Ordinary shares will become effective on 22May 2007.
