Close of Offer for Lemur Resources Limited
Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), a mineral development company focused on iron and tin projects in South Africa, announces that its takeover bid for all of the ordinary shares in Lemur Resources Limited (ASX: LMR) closed at 17:00 Perth, Western Australian time, on Friday 01 November 2013.
Following the closing of the bid, Bushveld has acquired a relevant interest of 54.39% of Lemur's issued share capital.
The Company will, in the coming few days, provide guidance in respect of its plans for Lemur going forward.
Fortune Mojapelo, CEO of Bushveld Minerals, said: "I am pleased to announce following the closing of the deadline, Bushveld has acquired a majority interest of 54.39% in Lemur Resources. The Company intends to promptly conduct a comprehensive strategic review on Lemur in the coming weeks and will update the market accordingly."
