Appointment of Chairman and Chief Financial Officer Designate
The Board is pleased to announce that Alexander Brennan has been appointed as Chairman with immediate effect. Mr Brennan has been supporting the Company as its Interim Chairman since July 2024, having been an independent non-executive director since February 2022.
The Company is also pleased to announce that as part of our long-term succession planning, it has appointed Mike Johns as Chief Financial Officer Designate, following a comprehensive search process which began in October 2024.
Mike will start his role this month and is expected to join the Board at the next AGM, following the approval of the audited annual report and accounts for 2024.
Mike has experience as a public company CFO and is joining the group after 7 years with Aptitude Software Group plc where he was CFO from May 2023 to March 2025. Mike is a qualified chartered accountant.
Current Interim CEO and CFO Daren Morris said:
"We are pleased to welcome Mike to the Group and I look forward introducing him to the Buddi team and working closely with him over the coming months as I hand over my finance related responsibilities and oversee completion of the audit and publication of the 2024 annual report and accounts".
