Board and Management Changes and Trading Update

Big Technologies plc (AIM: BIG) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Ian Johnson as Chief Executive Officer and Mike Johns as Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, in each case with immediate effect. Ian and Mike have already been supporting the Company as Non-Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Designate, respectively, since April 2025.

Mike will now oversee the remainder of the audit and publication of both the Company's preliminary results and its audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024 in line with the previously announced timetable.

The Company also announces that Daren Morris has been stood down by the Company as Director and Interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect and will leave the Group after a period of garden leave.

The Board changes announced today follow consultation with shareholders.

Alexander Brennan, Chairman of the Company, said: "We thank Daren for his hard work at the Group as Chief Financial Officer and, more recently, as Interim Chief Executive Officer, where he has helped to stabilise the business and its people at what has been a difficult time. We wish him well in his future endeavours. I am very pleased to welcome Ian, as a highly experienced Chief Executive Officer, in his new role and I look forward to working with him to deliver on the Company's strategy and objectives. We are equally pleased that Mike will be joining the Board in his role as Chief Financial Officer and we are excited to see him continue the hard work he has been doing since joining the Company."

Trading Update

Unaudited underlying revenue for the quarter ended 31 March 2025 increased 11% to £12.9 million compared to £11.6 million for Q1 2024 (excl. the Colombia contract which ceased in 2024). Further updates will be provided at the time of the announcement of the Company's preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2024.

Biography of Mike Johns

Mike is a qualified chartered accountant and was most recently CFO of Aptitude Software Group plc, where he held a number of senior finance positions before being appointed as CFO in 2023.
