Avon Rubber p.l.c. ("the Company")
Announcement of transaction in ordinary shares of £1 each (the "Shares")
The Company announces that on 28 June 2016 a joint ownership award over 2,790 Shares ('Award') was granted under the 2010 Performance Share Plan ('PSP') to Sarah Matthews-DeMers, a person discharging managerial responsibility.
The Award is supplementary to an award made to Mrs Matthews-DeMers under the PSP in December 2015 and has been made in recognition of a recent promotion. The performance period applicable to the Award is the same as the previous award in December 2015, which was 1 October 2015 to 30 September 2018.
The number of shares placed under the Award and the start price against which the Total Shareholder Return performance target will be measured over the 3 year performance period is the average price of the Company's Shares over the 5 days following announcement of the Company's annual results for the year ended 30 September 2015, which was 1085 pence. The closing price of the Company's Shares on the business day immediately preceding the date of the PSP Award was 820.5 pence. The award is also subject to an earnings per share performance target.
The transaction took place at Hampton Park West, Semington Road, Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 6NB.
This announcement is made pursuant to Disclosure Rule 3.1.4 following notification under Disclosure Rule 3.1.2.
