Result of Annual General Meeting

Avingtrans (ticker: AVG), which designs, manufactures and supplies critical components and associated services to the energy, medical, industrial and global aerospace sectors, announces that all resolutions proposed to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting, held earlier today, were duly passed.

At the AGM, Avingtrans Chairman, Roger McDowell, stated: "We are pleased to note that the order book for the first quarter of the current financial period was significantly ahead of the equivalent order intake in the year ended 31 May 2010, underpinning our confidence for the year".
