Annual General Meeting statement
Speaking today at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of Augean, one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, the Chairman, Jim Meredith, will provide the following update to shareholders:
"The trading performance of the Group has been strong during the first five months of 2015, with continued traction in the strategy to develop and grow sustainable market positions.
The Group continues to trade in line with management expectations for the full financial year.
Roger McDowell steps down from the Board following the meeting today. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Roger again for his considerable efforts during his time with the Group and on behalf of the Board offer him my best wishes for the future.
It is the intention of the Board to appoint a new non-executive director. The recruitment process is currently on-going and an announcement will be made in due course."
