Director appointment

Following the announcement dated 25 August 2017, Augean, one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, is pleased to confirm the appointment of Andrew Bryce to the Board as Non-Executive Director.

Andrew, who had previously been on the Board as a Non-Executive Director for 12 years between June 2005 and 2017, has offered to re-join the Board given the recent HMRC assessment received by the Group. Qualified as a Solicitor and formerly an Equity Partner at Cameron Markby Hewitt (now part of CMS Cameron McKenna), since 1994, Andrew has run his own specialist environmental law practice and has significant experience across a range of national and international businesses in highly regulated sectors.

During his previous tenure on the Augean Board, Andrew held the position of Chairman of the Nominations Committee and Chairman of Health and Safety Scrutiny Committee (2013-14). Andrew is a Founding Member of the UK Environmental Law Association and was Chairman for three years and is currently Co-Chair of its Brexit Tax Force.

Andrew has extensive experience of Augean and environmental law and will re-join the Board with immediate effect.

In accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules, Andrew John Bryce (aged 70) holds or has held in the past 5 years the following directorships and partnerships:

Andrew Bryce is interested in 11,419 shares in Augean representing 0.01% of the current issued share capital.

Save for the disclosures above, there are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
