The Board of Ascent Resources Plc, the European focused oil & gas exploration and production company (AIM: AST), is pleased to update shareholders on the progress towards commencing export production from the PetiΕ‘ovci asset to INA in Croatia.

On 20 October 2017 the Company reported that the final stage in the recertification of the export pipeline was an exchange of signatures which the Company had been informed would be completed shortly. The Company has been advised that the document was sent from the Ministry to INA where it has been reviewed, signed and returned to the Ministry for their final approval. The Company has been told that this should be completed shortly.

Once this signature is received the Company will begin to export gas production.
