EXPECTED CLOSING OF US$16 MILLION OFFERING

Further to the announcements made on 2 October 2013 and 3 October 2013, Aureus Mining Inc. ("Aureus" or the "Company") confirms that application was submitted to AIM on 4 October 2013 for the admission of 30,900,000 common shares ("Shares").

The Company anticipates that Admission will occur at 2.30pm London time today following formal closing of the Offering.

Defined terms used in this announcement, unless defined herein, have the same meanings as in the Company's announcement released via RNS on 2 October 2013.
