Alliance Pharma PLC28 June 2007 For immediate release 28 June 2007 ALLIANCE PHARMA PLC ("Alliance" or "the Company") Appointment of Finance Director Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the speciality pharmaceutical company, ispleased to announce that Richard Wright, a Chartered Accountant withconsiderable experience of quoted and private businesses across a variety ofsectors, has joined the Company, and the Company's Board, as Finance Director. Mr Wright, aged 40 years, a Cambridge University mathematics graduate, qualifiedas an accountant with Ernst & Young before joining Somerfield plc, where heworked in various finance functions between 1993 and 1997. Mr Wright joinedFirstGroup plc in 1997 where he held senior positions including Finance Directorof Great Western Trains Co Ltd. He joins Alliance Pharma from Parragon BooksLtd, which he joined in 2005 and where he held the role of Group FinanceDirector and Company Secretary.
