The Company announced on 3 April 2009 (RNS no. 1367Q) that following a share transaction, Dr Geoffrey Vernon, Non-executive Chairman of AMS, is beneficially interested in 960,000 ordinary shares of AMS. This should have read that Dr Vernon is beneficially interested in 1,000,000 ordinary shares of AMS.

PDMR Shareholding
The Company has been notified that on 3 April 2009, Mrs Julie Vernon sold 33,000 ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 35.90 pence per share. On the same day, Dr Geoffrey Vernon, Non-executive Chairman of AMS, bought 33,000 ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 36.38 pence per share.
As a result of these transactions there has been no change to the beneficial interest of Dr Vernon and his connected parties in the ordinary shares of AMS, which remains at 1,000,000 ordinary shares equating to 0.70 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
