Netafim™ to Exclusively Market Amiad Arkal Disc Filtration Solutions

Agreement continues longstanding collaboration between global irrigation and filter leaders

TEL AVIV, November 04, 2015 - Netafim, the global leader in smart irrigation solutions for sustainable productivity, announced today the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with Amiad Water Systems Ltd. (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Netafim will exclusively market Amiad's Arkal product lines for the irrigation market in numerous countries outside of Israel, as part of its filtration offering. In teaming up with the filtration market leader, Netafim further strengthens its leadership position, while enhancing irrigation system performance to ensure success and peace of mind for farmers.

The agreement is the latest step in a longstanding collaboration between the two companies. With the disc filters being a critical component in irrigation system protection, the exclusive deal with Amiad not only enhances Netafim's filtration solution offering with Amiad's patented Arkal SpinkKlin™ technology, but also represents a strategically important move for the drip irrigation pioneer.
