Final dividend for the year ended 14 September 2024 and special dividend
Further to the announcement released earlier today by Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') of its final results for the year ended 14 September 2024, the Company confirms that:
(i) | a final dividend of 42.3 pence per share will be paid; and |
(ii) | in addition to the final dividend, a special dividend of 27.0 pence per share will be paid as a second interim dividend. |
The payment date for both the 2024 final dividend and the special dividend will be 10 January 2025 and will be paid to shareholders on the register of members as at the close of business on 13 December 2024. The ex-dividend date for each of these dividends is 12 December 2024.
The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP') which is provided by Equiniti Financial Services Limited. The final date for receipt or withdrawal of elections under the DRIP for both dividends will be 20 December 2024.
The DRIP enables the Company's shareholders to elect to have their cash dividend payments used to purchase the Company's shares. More information can be found at www.shareview.co.uk/info/drip.
Payment of the final dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 6 December 2024. Payment of the special dividend does not require shareholder approval.
