New Board Members Appointed and Board Member Retirement

Two new members have been appointed to Accent Group Limited and Accent Housing Limited Board's after a competitive process. Akshay Shah and David Williams have both been appointed from 1 March 2023.

Akshay Shah is currently Managing Director of the London office of New York Life Investments overseeing the origination, structuring and management of private placements across Europe. Prior to his current role, Akshay worked in the corporate and capital markets divisions of Barclays Bank for approaching 20 years. Akshay brings a host of treasury experience and capital market insight with him. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Accent Group for just over 4 years on the Group's Treasury Committee.

David Williams is a RICS qualified Executive and active Independent Board member within the Social Housing Sector having previously held the position of Executive Director of Assets and Growth at One Manchester. David brings a wealth of knowledge to Accent in respect of asset management and development. David is currently a Non executive Director chairing Accents Heath and Safety Committee, going forward David will also sit on Accent's Capital Investment Committee.

On 19th March 2023 Rob Seldon will retire from the Accent Board after 9 years service. Rob has been a valuable member of the Board and has been an active member of the Treasury Committee supporting with the issuance of our debut bond in 2019, the People Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee. Rob has been a fantastic support to Accent whilst offering robust challenge to ensure the best outcomes for our customers. The Board would like to thank Rob for his dedicated service and wish him the very best of the future.
