New Director of Accent Capital PLC

Accent Group Limited and Accent Capital PLC Boards announce the retirement of Archana Makol, and subsequent appointment of Ilona Blue, as Director of Accent Capital PLC.

Ilona has been a Board member of Accent Group Limited since 1 April 2022, and is Chair of the Group's Audit and Risk Committee. An experienced non-executive and executive leader, Ilona is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant with a successful track-record in UK central government finance, governance and programme delivery. Ilona completed the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma in 2020 and holds a number of non-executive roles across the public sector.

Archana Makol will retire from the Accent Boards on 1 October 2025, after 9 years of service. Archana's unique range of skills and experience, from an executive career in corporate services, have made her a valued member of the Accent Board and she has brought a balanced, person-centred approach to the role of Senior Independent Director and Chair of Remuneration and Nominations Committee. We wish her well for the future. Archana's successor to the role of Senior Independent Director and Chair of Accent's Remuneration and Nominations Committee, is Helen Jaggar, who has served on Accent's Board since 2018.
