In accordance with article 228 of the Securities Market Act, Endesa, S.A. hereby reports the following
SIGNIFICANT EVENT
Endesa, S.A. has today transferred its entire shareholding in “Enel Insurance B.V.”, which represents 50% of the share capital of this company, for a total price of Euros 114 million following the signing of a private sale contract with “Enel Investment Holding B.V.”, a company from the same business group.
From the already described transaction, no capital gain/loss arises in the Consolidated Income Statement of Endesa.
“Enel Insurance B.V.” is a Dutch company which provides insurance and reinsurance services to Enel Group companies.
