Has anyone considered a JV instead of all this conspiracy mass production we hear about on this bb.
Wouldn't it be easier/better for Solg to JV some of their tenements? Think of the leaps and bounds they would make towards production...a major liaising with the Ecuadorian government rather than a minnow with no experience. A major injecting 100's of millions into the project accelerating the process and bringing income to themselves, Solg and the country.
Solg could then use this income to pay for their other projects elsewhere.
Selling off "X" percent of Cascabel might be the key to unlocking this stalemate we find ourselves in. My only question is........why hasn't anyone suggested this to Solg before (or perhaps they have and NM has rejected it out of hand).

Solg has more than enough to be getting on with elsehwere. FFS Solg......think outside the box eh?

Bamps, as Matty stated, I suspect it is semantics. The link I included specifically staed that the PFS covers Stage 1. Stage 1 was the MMRE. The MMRE is 52Mt. The PFS RNS states that of the MMRE, only 14Mt is upgraded but it still 'covered ' the whole of the MMRE simply not reporting on the 37Mt of breccia....

Zoros - I've mentioned this before and think your timeline is super helpful but, and I apologise as I may have just misunderstood what you're trying to say, I don't think the PFS does 'cover' 53mt and saying it that way gives the wrong (too negative) impression. It covers an even smaller amount (14 Mt as I recall).

The PFS ( occasionally referred to as "the stage One Study"), is reporting on the only information it has (up to Feb 2021)....the MMRE.
The MMRE covered: South East Crescent/adjacent Breccia/portions of the Northern Breccia.
The PFS "covers" the MMRE (52Mt). It does not however, "consider" the 37Mt of the MMRE that is outside the SE Crescent. The remaining 14Mt is upgraded to "indicated" or "probable ore reserves". The covered area (52Mt) equates to 6% of the motherlode (up to Feb 2021). The upgraded portion or 'indicated' (14Mt), is 28% of this 6% which equates to 1.7% of the motherlode. So yes the PFS is 'covering' the MMRE volume but not bothering to consider a major chunk of it due to lack of quality assays at that 'point in time' (feb 2021).

I read it as: "we will increase the SE crescent resource and then provide an MRE2"

Growth drilling (as you put it) beyond the SE crescent will be reported in 2022 but according to 'Stage 3' it seems.

I simply summarise the data from various sources and log it in one place for everyone to view.

No saignificant change here. Ignore their dig rate/month (showing as 154m). They advertised this from day 1. The true dig rate as of the PFS (Oct 12th) was 50m/month.
Today, SD mentioned first 'ore' (not production but arrival @ the motherlode) would be in CY23 (6/22 to 6/23). Let's take the midway point (Dec 22). That requires a dig rate of 165m/month to achieve the decline length of (now 3000m), of which about 2400 still to go.
As Bamps said some weeks ago (supported by an email from GGP responding to my query - confirming this).....the going will be tough to start with as it penetrates difficult terrain/flooding from the aquifier, etc but should settle down several hundred metres down.

2022 is looking busy!

I normally post around midnight, when I get a chance to chill from the rest of the day. For those who missed these posts, here are a couple of 'updates' for your edification ;)

Havieron PFS and beyond:
The PFS covered 53Mt of ore resource identified in the MMRE(inferred)(10.12.20).
This accounts for approximately 6% of the SE Crescent / N Breccia resourced during the MMRE (Current mother lode size: approx 900Mt).
28% of the MRE(inferred) is now uplifted to MRE(indicated): 2MozAuEq.
To date 1.7% of the SE Crescent / N Breccia now ‘indicates’ 2MozAuEq.
And all of that is from the SE crescent only.
In Q1/22 a MRE2(inferred) will be published. This will update (not upgrade) the remaining 72% of the original MMRE from additional infilling and additional growth drilling figures.

But before you attempt to interpolate; a reminder that the best grades have been offered up for publication (MRE(indicated)) for obvious reasons (4g/t). A lot of the remaining 72% should come in at an estimated 1.4g/t. And of course the entire (current) mother lode (650 x 350 x 1200+) won’t be mined either! Each of you will have your own calculations on (a) the eventual size of the mother lode and (b) grade of resources therein...to determine the final amount of AuEq resource available.

Bear in mind, we are only talking about the current SE crescent/N Breccia volume as defined by the MMRE because this is all that NCM have been able to drill and explore to date. This is what the PFS is about, this is what Stage 1 (starter mine) is about (SLOS).

Stage 2: Continue drilling to increase the maiden resource. Publish a MRE2(inferred) for SE Crescent (Q1/22) to reflect this additional drilling. Complete the DFS (Q4/22).

Stage 3: MMRE(inferred) for Eastern Breccia. Additional MRE(inferred) for N Breccia.
Update MRE(indicated) for SE Crescent. Decline completes.

Stage 4: [2023/24] mine the SE Crescent. MRE(indicated) N Breccia. MRE2(inferred) E Breccia.

Red - Instos (on the whole - as there will be a couple sniffing around early doors) want something more concrete that a PFS/MRE. PFS is good and a start but the FS will bring GGP much more into the headlights of Instos and their brokers/agents. Steady as she goes and all that.
It is obvious that SD knows what is going to be in the MRE2 in Jan/Feb next year, simply by looking at his facial features when he talks about it. It will be the first opportunity for the drilling results to catch up with real time. Cores from end of Feb 2021 all the way through to 2 months before the MRE2 comes out (est: 200Km) to be assayed.

The race is on because NCM want to keep Telfer and its 1200 workers - employed. Costs of decommissioning the processing plant and then flashing it up again 2 years later are in the 100's of millions of dollars. NCM plan to "stope" the top section of the SE crescent to get the gold to market ASAP. This will then pay for Telfer and for the setting up of the "BUM" later (bulk underground mine). In effect, the SLOS (sub level open stoping) is a short cut to funding Havieron. Clever boy is Sandeep........

Aurora1: 65,000m drilled up to July 2020. 90,000 planned after that until into 2022.
Cut off for PFS was wend of Feb 2021. IF.....if MRE2 pops up in Feb 2022, cut off will be Dec(late) 2021.
Because we have a major miner onside....NCM will continue to work throughout the Aussie Summer....Very few smaller companies can do this because they don't have the support/equipment etc.
Telfer is fully air conditioned for everyone. We are so lucky.

I am Sir, thank you for asking. Yes the board has its days. Although I do detect a gentle decline over the months into childish and repetitive disorder.
I am preparing for a quiet (SP) period this side of Christmas now. Nothing special to declare. Even the assays won't register on the richter scale as we have seen before.
All eyes on the MRE2(inferred) Q1/22.
