The board seems to have been populated by some relatively new-comers it seems. Good news, provided they bring something to the party, I guess.

Been doing some homework latterly and thought this may be of assistance (more so to the relative newcomers, or just those who don't have a handle on this yet).

Havieron PFS and beyond:
The PFS covered 53Mt of ore resource identified in the MMRE(inferred)(10.12.20).
This accounts for approximately 6% of the SE Crescent / N Breccia resourced during the MMRE (Current mother lode size: approx 900Mt).
28% of the MRE(inferred) is now uplifted to MRE(indicated): 2MozAuEq.
To date 1.7% of the SE Crescent / N Breccia now ‘indicates’ 2MozAuEq.
In Q1/22 a MRE2(inferred) will be published. This will update (not upgrade) the remaining 72% of the original MMRE from additional infilling and additional growth drilling figures.

But before you attempt to interpolate; a reminder that the best grades have been offered up for publication (MRE(indicated)) for obvious reasons (4g/t). A lot of the remaining 72% should come in at an estimated 1.4g/t. And of course the entire (current) mother lode (650 x 350 x 1200+) won’t be mined either! Each of you will have your own calculations on (a) the eventual size of the mother lode and (b) grade of resources therein...to determine the final amount of AuEq resource available.

Bear in mind, we are only talking about the current SE crescent/N Breccia volume as defined by the MMRE because this is all that NCM have been able to drill and explore to date. This is what the PFS is about, this is what Stage 1 (starter mine) is about (SLOS).

Stage 2: Continue drilling to increase the maiden resource. Publish a MRE2(inferred) for SE Crescent (Q1/22) to reflect this additional drilling. Complete the DFS (Q4/22).

Stage 3: MMRE(inferred) for Eastern Breccia. Additional MRE(inferred) for N Breccia.
Update MRE(indicated) for SE Crescent. Decline completes.

Stage 4: [2023/24] mine the SE Crescent. MRE(indicated) N Breccia. MRE2(inferred) E Breccia.

Rounding up from the 28% already published (@2Moz) gets you to 2.9MozAuEq if one is to believe page 10 of the growth RNS on the 12th Oct. This extra 0.9 comes from the sulphides attached to the resource and doesn't accomodate any inferred being upgraded to the indicated in the remaining 72%.
A much higher figure therefore is incoming...........Hannam have based their 25p (ish) on the 2.9.

The 5% option comes to an end in Dec 2022.
The DFS is published in Q4/22.
The decision to Bulk Mine (as a JV) will be made in Q4/22.

So in simplistic terms, what do they mean about the 2.9MozAuEq to be included in the future feasibility study?
Will we expect the DFS to be based on this 2.9?
[I understand the MRE(inferred) which will be out in Q1/22 to cover a larger area of resource, but from a business model and planning perspective, is the 2.9 the figure they will use (from the 37Mt and additional infills/growth in the interim?

To date, 1.7% of the SE Crescent (and portion of N Breccia), now ‘indicates’ 2MozAuEq.

But before you attempt to interpolate, a reminder that the best grades have been offered up for publication for obvious reasons (4+g/t). A lot of the remaining ore body could come in much lower than this overall and the breccia could be as low as 0.2g/t! And of course the whole of the motherlode won’t be mined either! Each of you will have your own calculations on (a) size of ore body and (b) grades...to determine the final amount of AuEq resource available.
[IMO..I am going for 5 to 8MozAuEq for the SE crescent and N breccia ore body (only)].

It shows the current (PFS) resource (2MozAuEq), on the left. Over to the far right it shows the future resource (2.9MozAuEq) which will be borne out in a “future feasibility study”.
I understand this to show that the remaining 72% of the MMRE (which wasn’t upgraded at the PFS), together with all the infill and growth drilling since then and up to the cut off point prior to the MRE2(inferred) (Q1/22), is expected to provide: 2.9MozAuEq. A further 0.9Moz.
This increased resource forming the basis of a production rate of 3Mt/yr and extended mine life of 11 years.

I've been away from these fair isles this last week, popped in occasionally, thinking it was no longer the GGP forum I was a part of?? It was infested by strange people talking absolute bo**ox. An excessive number of trolls dominating the board. A noticeable absence of LTH's.
But today is back to normal (thanks Admin for doing your job).
I have dissected the PFS and committed pen to paper (so to speak) and would like to offer my thoughts up for your observations, if I may? Your views are always appreciated......

But first, a fantastic reminder of what TimberTrader (16th @0739) posted:

However,..as we are drilling more and more to get the other configurations of Havieron, our mining teams are thinking about what other options there might be for mining outside of the existing resource.
