With all these posts suggesting possible bids, wouldn’t it make more sense to suggest a JVA between Solg@ Alpala and one of the heavies invested in Solg?
Solg have done all the surface work/ PR / licences/ government liaison, now they need a major to partner up for the actual dig.
And it avoids all this speculation about rejected bids and offers.

Cross section of views about Ingo departing. Lisa Parks response to her colleagues wishing her well suggest something has derailed the slow but steady progress Solg 'were' making towards production and that is because they have done a U turn and are seriously preparing for a JVA with a major @ Alpala/Cascabel.

I'm feeling flush after breaking cover and flagging up when the 5% would be disclosed and also guessing that it would be £50m. So "3 in a row":
NCM will formally advise the uptake of the additional 5% @ Hav, in their Annual Report on the 18th August.

Gawd help us if you sell! You'll probably drag the stock down by 5 points considering what you own!! Please promise to do a GH when you do sell and drip feed the sale over some considerable timeframe!!
But joking aside - selling this stock is very very subjective for obvious reasons.
Some can hold forever, some MUST sell by a certain date irrespective of the SP.
Others have a future target date/price.
Unlike Solg, which has lost its way now, there are more and more 'distressed' sellers who have simply lost hope over the last 10 years of waiting and hoping @ Solg.
This isn't the case with this 'diamond' stock. We have light at the end of the decline (sorry - tunnel) and it is a glorious light!
We simply have to lay it all out: buy out / first ore / additional stopes / new block cave(s) / decades of mining and decide what the SP might be along the way and choose an exit strategy.
There will be no fatigued or distressed shareholders with GGP.
A rare and very very comfortable position to be in - especially the longer one leaves it.

With so much money invested in this stock RK, you would definitely be looking for any leads as to where Solg is going and it would show in how and what you write.
But your 'mate' has told you the square root of FO, hasn't he. Great mate eh?

Complete conjecture of course, but all a bit of fun - yes I agree......let GGP run for a while....atleast until after they have contributed to the mine build properly.....and then take them out (@ Hav only, IMO).
I say again - what will GGP bring to the party once we are at the production stage and beyond.
No-one can come up with a reason why they should cream off 25% of the income while on the other hand - not contribute anything to the project thereafter.

Calling 15p by the end of August.
Sprott is calling 17p. (no-one is sure when!).
And recently (aligned with various other Brokers of late), Hannam is calling 25p by Dec 2022.

So we have 12p now, 15p end of August, 25p end of December. [I can live with that].

And we still have:
NCM - MR and OR update in August. (Hopefully their MRE(2)?).
Possible buy out (cash injection) of the 5% by end of August.
NCM quarterly report in October.
GGP Annual report in November.
3 x 6 weekly reports (August to Dec inc).
Sprott ETF review in November.
DFS in December.

Some of these will have a significant impact on the SP too, I suspect.

C'mon lads it was on the cards. An indy confirms the value - simples. Take it or leave it. Sandeep hasn't shafted anyone ffs. Shaun wanted it behind him and now it is....move on.

Looking at glass half full:
Every single drill hole has found gold at economical levels. 15 holes all showing promise.....again! This motherlode gets bigger and bigger by the month. In all directions.
Nearly 500m completed by Byrnecut and accelerating.
Revised decline spiral to assist progress.
DFS still Dec 2022.
First Ore under review (my guess is a push back to Q3/24.
All in all (for me anyway)......no smack in the face with a kipper, skipper. I'm happy

PS: The £50m will go towards paying off the $50m and $73m owed.
The first tranche ($50m) hasn't all been spent yet (I believe its about $25m spent so far?).

Now SD will fill in the blanks with debt sheets (hopefully) and no equity sale!
