You seem to wallow in slagging people off on a public forum.
I have no foresight, no crystal ball. I was simply suggesting that the failed CGP takeover (for want of a better word), several weeks ago, laid bare a 20-30% premium on the current CGP stock and by dilligent use of funds (either borrowed from the SOLG stock or additional funding)- made it a very attractive opportunity.
I bought into CGP during the aftermath of that failed attempt (March). Missed the peak of the upturn but still made 14% profit. I then returned the funds to my SOLG stock.
Hopefully this time around - his 2nd formal 'grab' for CGP will be an improved version of his 1st feeble attempt and this will provide a 2nd bite at the cherry if anyone fancied another pop @ CGP.
That's all I was flagging up.
Smickster - I don't agree that IF CGP does capitulate to SOLG, causing its SP to rise - that the SOLG SP will rise by the same amount (ish). Different incentives, different drivers.
