I'll play..............
1) world class tier 1
What's your question?
2mines come on line in the near future, 1 producing 1000000t, The other 600000t.
Who and where are these?
Solg 250000t a little different,do you agree.
You are basing this figure on the MRE2. I would suggest this figure is nearer 400k by now. This still puts Cascabel in the top 15 copper mines in the world, no?
Read the cautionary note on what solg says about tier one on their web page
No-one on the outside of SOLG has formally questioned this. Why is that then?
2) their basing this all on copper being USD 3.30. at the moment it's USD 2.60,
Their hoping for a 25% increase ?
As I mentioned earlier, Copper rose by 14% in 2018 alone. Projections by respected authorities like the world bank and the IMF are suggesting Copper (due to mines winding down and the demand for Cu) will orbit around this figure in 2024, which is why the independent body that wrote the PEA picked this figure.
3)the grades are not brilliant. Hence them drilling the cr&p for the last 6 months
Why should he stop drilling?
Trying to find the hotspot. Unsuccessfully, hence no updates.
SOLG are spinning various plates. Porvenir, awaiting permits, extending Alpala, I would imagine he wants to supply enough data to make MRE3 worthwhile, no?
,4) the markets have lost a bit of confidence in nm after the hype about aquina.
I'm not up to speed with what NM said about Aquina.
5) newcrest have and will never have the money to buy us out,, and nm states no JV
So?
6) bhp have shelled out peanuts for them and not even taken a seat on the board
They don't need a board member (technically) below 30% ownership.
7) by the time solg get out their feasibility study and get construction started, the majors
with their resources will be producing themselves.we will be the noisy neighbors still telling everyone who will listen what we've got in the ground.
That;s purely subjective.
8) nm is desperate to sell. Hence the Ill thought offer to Irwin to flush out bidders. It didn't work, he now appears to have no plan B. Hence the offer appears to be kicked into the long grass.
Agree strongly.
9) were running out of money.
Don't think so, Newcrest and BHP are in it, to win it. Do you think they will stand by and watch SOLG go to the wall?
How's that?
